Fragmented landscapes in a Digital World.
My work explores the intersection of nature and technology, reflecting the fragmented, fast-paced digital world we inhabit. Through vibrant, buzzing colours and disjointed compositions, I reimagine traditional landscapes as fractured terrains—mirroring our perception of endless streams of information.
Each piece is a dialogue between the organic and the artificial. The landscapes I create are not serene or cohesive; instead, they are fragmented, layered, and disrupted—echoing the way digital media filters and distorts our experience of reality. Bright, electric hues pulse through the work, embodying the overstimulation of contemporary life while also celebrating its energy and dynamism. By fragmenting the familiar I invite viewers to navigate these landscapes as they would navigate their own digital lives: piecing together meaning from fragments, finding beauty in dissonance, and questioning what is real versus what is constructed.
My work is both a reflection of our time and a meditation on how we connect to a world that feels increasingly splintered yet interconnected. Ultimately, these fragmented landscapes are an exploration of duality—between nature and technology, chaos and order, tradition and innovation. They ask us to consider how we can find harmony in a world that is constantly shifting beneath our feet.
